Position Overview
Impact for Equity seeks a dynamic and mission-driven Development Manager to play an integral role in fundraising, donor stewardship, event management, and development operations. Reporting to the Managing Director of Development and External Relations, the successful candidate will be an experienced and energetic professional who is passionate about fundraising and advancing our mission to end systemic injustice.
Responsibilities
Fundraising Strategy
- Work closely with the Managing Director of Development and External Relations to plan and execute annual appeals to meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Implement donor cultivation and stewardship strategies to broaden the base of financial support for the organization.
- Coordinate with the Managing Director of Development and External Relations to envision and execute communications strategies and vehicles that highlight the impact of our work to donors and prospective donors.
Event Management
- Oversee and execute fundraising and donor cultivation events from inception to completion, including venue selection, budget management, event logistics, vendor management, and event reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of event-related data including revenue, expenses, and post-event evaluations for analysis and future planning.
Development Operations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in comprehensive donor database, Little Green Light.
- Manage the gift acknowledgement process to ensure timely and accurate communication with donors.
- Assist in strategic donor cultivation and stewardship.
